    Hi everyone,

With the new year, we are spending a lot of time planning our development strategy, prioritizing features, and researching options. In this coming year – pending successful receipt of grant funding – we are currently planning to focus on a few overarching areas of interest as we continue to improve EdReady. These include:

    • Expanding data capture and access, both for more precise activity-level data (i.e., better insight into what students are doing for any EdReady session) and for more comprehensive site-level data (i.e., so it is easier to extract summary reports that can help you make sense of whether EdReady is helping to achieve institutional goals, or not).
    • Better messaging and communications tools, at all levels. These will include alerts for specific activity-patterns so that supporting teachers and admins can intervene as needed.
    • Expanded test-administration options, especially with an eye towards the rapidly growing use-case for EdReady as a placement solution.

We have a significant list of requests from many of you, all of which are either being considered or are already in the development phase. We intend to remain open and responsive to comments and requests, but we are also trying to manage the development process in such a way that we are not too distracted by random issues from one day to the next. Rest assured that we will be highly reactive to any major bugs or issues that are reported. Do not hesitate to reach out with ideas or support!

We have already updated EdReady with some minor releases in January. As always, summary release notes are available here.

    – Ahrash
