      Hi everyone,

The latest EdReady update went through on Saturday morning, August 11. There have been a few minor updates since June as well.

Read the full release notes here.

These latest updates have been ‘maintenance’ focused, with a priority on bug-fixes, performance improvements, and extension of certain key functions, especially those related to the SSO protocols we can support. As part of these efforts, we are now supporting updated SSO security protocols for SAML users. Please let us know if you would like to learn more about updating your SSO integration.

We also fixed some accessibility issues, especially related to keyboard navigation in the assessment items.

Also on the accessibility front, we received the concluded audit of EdReady’s accessibility compliance against the WCAG 2.0 AA standards. That audit identified a few gaps in our existing accessibility support strategies, so we are not quite to the compliance level we are striving for. However, we are also not that far away! The audit clarified certain aspects of our strategy and we are working up our response plans now. We are optimistic that we will achieve that compliance threshold relatively soon.

Looking ahead, continued EdReady development will be proceeding at a measured pace, so improvements may not always be obvious. We will post updates as we can so you can remain abreast of the changes coming down the pipe.
