      Hello EdReady community!

We have begun research to create a statistics-based scope and sequence in EdReady. Our goal is to create a statistics scope with learning materials and associated assessment items that support the application of statistical knowledge for students who are majoring in fields other than math or engineering. This “statistics pathway” will enable those students to focus on the essential math competencies necessary to be successful in his/her required college level math course(s).

After researching current curricular offerings, we have put together a draft scope, and we would like our NROC Members to review and provide feedback about it. Your feedback is an important part of this process since you can speak for what is going to be necessary for your students. Once we have a final scope in place, we will then determine partners we might work with who have learning materials and/or assessment items that address the topics covered. Please reply to this post or email gro.CORNnull@lairotide if you are interested in providing comments on the statistics scope.

      Thank you!

We are very interested in having some folks review it in Montana.

As an aside…our largest request from K-12 users is for Geometry resources/pathway that would support the classroom instruction much as the Algebra 1 content does.  IMO I would put the size of demand from that possibly even above stats if you are looking for possible expansion to the libraries…
