The NROC Project offers ongoing professional development opportunities which are openly available to everyone. We invite interested members to contact us if they would like to present a webinar, do a conference presentation on NROC, or contribute resources to be shared with other NROC members.
We offer monthly webinars to address the challenges of teaching in the digital age and incorporating digital content into your curriculum, as well as member-led sessions on how institutions are using NROC products in innovative ways.
NROC Info Sessions are short, topical presentations followed by a facilitated question-and-answer period. These brief and regular online meet-ups are the perfect opportunity for you to learn how NROC membership can support your initiatives. Topics include an EdReady Introduction and Demonstration, Getting Started with HippoCampus, and NROC Developmental Math and English Overviews. If you have a topic that you would be of special interest to you, please let us know.
NROC has developed a variety of instructor and student tutorials to support our members as they set up and use our products. Please check the Instructor Resource tab on the product page you are interested in or visit the Tutorials page.
The primary administrator for each custom EdReady website should complete the EdReady Admin Training course. This course covers how to do a basic EdReady setup. Each lesson includes a video, a glossary of terms, and a transcript. More information is available on the EdReady page.
The NROC Member Meeting, held every year in March, brings together leaders, teachers, and learners to renew our commitment and review progress on our mission to open doors to college and career. Together, we consider how NROC resources and tools are making a difference in the hands of innovative educators. Rich networking opportunities are offered to leave participants connected and inspired to launch new ideas.
