About this event:

Created by Jill Somrock

What do adult students want to be ready for? Let’s consider new models for math and English review in support of adult learners as they reengage with the promise of education. NROC members will share early experiences with EdReady and HippoCampus to support adults preparing for high school equivalency exams and for transitioning onto their chosen college and career pathways. The presenters will discuss the role of digital resources in personalizing, accelerating and contextualizing these efforts. We’ll look at lessons learned and plans for moving forward.

Presenters: April Lawton, Adult Education Program Facilitator, Metro Community College Express (NE) and Tina Hite, Director, New Mexico DELT (Distance Education and Learning Technologies) for Adult Learners
